Castlemartyr Hotel and Resort

Tyndall Building, UCC, Cork

Hennessy Timber Group was involved in the design and fitting of timber cladding for both the interior and exterior of the Tyndall Building at University College Cork. Hennessy Timber Group used Cedar Cladding for the exterior of the building to create a simplistic yet contemporary look.

The Elysian Tower, Cork

Built in 2008 the Elysian Tower stands out in the Cork city skyline with the distinction of being the tallest building in the Republic of Ireland. The Elysian consists of a number of connected 6-8 storey building with the tower standing at 17 storeys.

In 2013, I approached Aidan at Hennessy Timber Group about creating a playground at the Quality Hotel, which would create a “wow” factor. We came up with the idea of a Pirate ship playground and Aidan and his team got working on a design immediately and within months we had completed this great project. The playground is a fantastic success and has been a key selling point for the hotel. The kids love the novelty factor of the boat. Visitors to the hotel regularly comment about the ship on Facebook and Trip Adviser, it has been a huge hit. The quality of the work is top class and I would definitely use Hennessy Timber Group for any future Projects.
